These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the DJ’s Courier website and any courier or delivery services booked with DJ’s Courier. By requesting a quote or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
Our Services
DJ’s Courier provides local, same-day, and long-distance courier and delivery services across South West local and nationwide work available. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes provided via our website or by phone are estimates based on the information you supply. Final pricing may vary if the job differs from what was described (e.g. additional drop-offs, restricted access, or item size/weight not previously disclosed).
- Local deliveries start from £50, same day/urgent deliveries start from £60. Long-distance jobs are quoted individually.
- Waiting time is free for the first 15 minutes, after which it is charged at £15 per 15 minutes.
- Prices are correct at time of quoting and may be subject to change.
Booking and Cancellation
- Bookings are confirmed once accepted by DJ’s Courier.
- Cancellations should be made as early as possible. Cancellations made with insufficient notice may be subject to a charge to cover time and resource already committed.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking, for example where item details, access, or safety concerns mean the job cannot be safely completed.
Customer Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information at the time of booking, including:
- Correct collection and delivery addresses
- Accurate description of items, including size, weight, and fragility
- Accurate access information (stairs, parking restrictions, lift access, heavy lifting requirements)
Inaccurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or the job being unable to proceed.
Prohibited Items
We do not transport illegal items, hazardous materials, or goods requiring specialist licensing, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
Liability and Insurance
- While we take all reasonable care, we are not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging, pre-existing damage, or items not accurately described at the time of booking.
Delivery Times
We aim to complete all collections and deliveries within the agreed timeframe. However, times may be affected by traffic, weather, or other circumstances outside our control, and are not guaranteed.
Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
